Job summary

ACCIONA Energía is seeking an Operations Support Technician to service projects across North America. You will work with a team to maintain wind farms, focusing on major component replacement and preventative maintenance.

A strong emphasis on safety, regulatory compliance, and quality workmanship is required. Qualifications include 1+ year in wind turbine tech, ability to travel extensively, and proficiency with electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience as a wind turbine technician.
• Experience with major turbine components and rigging.
• Familiar with hand and power tools.
• Willingness to travel 50%–85% and work on rotating shifts.

Responsibilities

• Perform assembly, commissioning, testing, troubleshooting, retrofitting, and maintenance on wind turbine generators and related equipment.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems on wind turbines.
• Execute repairs across multiple sites focusing on major component replacements.
• Follow safety protocols including hazard assessments and energy isolation procedures.
• Support root cause analysis to identify equipment failures and corrective actions.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and training certifications to ensure compliance.
