Bachmann electronic GmbH seeks an Application Engineer to work on real-world automation projects in the renewable energy sector and industry, supporting customers from application development through on-site support.

You will develop and implement PLC and automation solutions, program and test PLC applications and HMI, and collaborate with engineering teams to deliver customer-specific applications, with travel to sites up to 50%.

Qualificações

• Technical qualifications in electrical engineering, mechatronics, automation engineering, computer engineering, or a related field.
• Basic PLC programming knowledge; IEC 61131-3 languages are a plus.
• Hands-on mindset and enthusiasm for software and hardware.
• Programming experience in C/C++ is beneficial.
• Familiarity with PROFIBUS, CAN/CANopen, Modbus, or Ethernet protocols.
• Knowledge of power systems or renewable energy applications is beneficial.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with a customer focus.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites up to 50%.
• Recent graduates and early-career engineers are encouraged to apply.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and implement PLC and automation solutions for wind energy, renewable energy, and other industrial applications.
• Program, test, and optimize PLC applications and HMI/visualization solutions.
• Work closely with engineering and project teams to implement customer-specific applications.
• Support customers with technical questions, troubleshooting, and integration of automation components.
• Participate in on-site commissioning and system start-ups at customer locations.
• Analyze technical issues and help customers find practical, reliable solutions.
• Conduct technical workshops and training sessions for customers.
