Montauk Renewables, Inc. is seeking an Automation Engineer to support 15 U.S. plants by developing and verifying control systems, programming PLCs, and aiding in startup and operations.

The role requires hands-on experience with Siemens and Allen-Bradley platforms, HMI design, and cross-functional collaboration. The engineer will contribute to project scoping, design reviews, and field verification, while supporting data collection and IT needs across sites.

Qualifikationen

• Three or more years of direct automation experience with HMI, SCADA, PLCs, DCS, and process control system architecture.
• Strong understanding of industrial control systems across multiple platforms and vendors.
• Experience with design reviews, startup, commissioning, and ongoing operations support.
• Ability to develop cost estimates for equipment and programming changes.
• Experience with data gathering, analysis, and IT support functions in an industrial setting.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Aufgaben

• Programming and troubleshooting PLCs and HMIs across facilities.
• Support project life cycles from scoping to startup and operations.
• Assist with SOPs, training materials, and commissioning activities.
• Develop equipment and programming cost estimates.
• Provide IT and data analysis support for Montauk Energy operations.
