Job summary

Invenergy LLC, headquartered in Chicago, seeks an Operations Electrical Engineer to manage the operations of wind, solar, and storage assets, ensuring reliable fleet performance. The role requires collaboration with site teams and external partners to drive safe, efficient operations.

Hybrid work: in-office Mon–Thu, remote on Fridays; base pay 105,000–125,000 USD with a 15% annual bonus. Candidates should have a BS in Electrical Engineering and relevant field experience.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of three-phase power systems and high voltage equipment.
• Experience with HV/MV electrical systems and protective relays.
• Familiarity with NESC and ANSI/IEEE standards and codes.

Responsibilities

• Support operating facilities with electrical troubleshooting and data review for events.
• Interface with site personnel, contractors, equipment manufacturers and engineers on electrical issues.
• Manage substation and balance-of-plant maintenance, testing, and inspections.
