Job summary

The North Carolina Wildlife Resources Commission is seeking a Wildlife Law Enforcement Telecommunicator for its Law Enforcement Division - Telecommunications Center. The role provides centralized communications for the commission and supports public understanding of the law through WRC information lines.

The position involves handling calls 24/7, coordinating with DCIN and other agencies, and supporting Wildlife Enforcement Officers across 9 districts.

Qualifications

• Experience in a call center or communications center.
• DCIN modules 1, 2 & 3 experience is preferred.
• CJ Leads and emergency dispatch experience are assets.

Responsibilities

• Provide centralized communications for the NC Wildlife Resources Commission.
• Assist the public in understanding the law via WRC information lines.
• Receive requests for assistance by radio, telephone, and DCIN terminals and coordinate responses.
• Coordinate with other agencies to ensure timely delivery of assistance.
• Document and disseminate information to Wildlife Enforcement Officers across 9 districts.
