Position: Wild Eagle Steak & Saloon - Line Cook

Location: Wild Eagle - Streetsboro, OH

Position Summary: Prepares and handles food as outlined on station lists and company recipes in a timely manner.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Prepare food according to designated workstations and prep list.
  2. Assumes 100% responsibility for quality of products used and food served.
  3. Prepare all menu items in accordance with recipe guidelines and par levels, following portion and quality standards, kitchen rules, and policies and procedures.
  4. Prepares all ingredients needed for designated station daily, following chef’s prep and par lists.
  5. Maintains a clean kitchen, within Company and State standards at all times; including tables, shelves, grills, broilers, fryers, pasta cookers, sauté burners, convection oven, flat top range, and refrigeration equipment.
  6. Prepares items for broiling, grilling, frying, sautéing, or other cooking methods by portioning, battering, breading, seasoning, and/or marinating.
  7. Follows proper plate presentation and garnish setup for all dishes according to directions.
  8. Labels and dates all food products in storage and refrigeration areas as needed.
  9. Assists in food prep assignments in off-peak periods as needed.
  10. Closes the kitchen properly and follows the closing checklist for kitchen stations.
  11. Assist others as needed.
