Job summary

Amentum/Secure Networking Solutions seeks a WIDS Specialist Level II to administer the Bastille WIDS platform, lead Monitoring & Response (M&R) activities, and analyze wireless threats for the Skywalker program.

Based in Goleta, CA, you will coordinate with Government stakeholders, ensure compliance with DoD/IC directives, and produce incident summaries and reports. This is a safety-sensitive role requiring TS/SCI w/ Poly health clearance.

Qualifications

• Experience operating and administering the Bastille WIDS platform.
• Knowledge of wireless protocols, RF theory, and wireless threat detection.
• Experience supporting M&R and wireless security operations.
• Ability to analyze security events and prepare technical reports and documentation.
• Strong written, verbal, and analytical communication skills.
• Ability to travel worldwide.

Responsibilities

• Monitor WIDS environments using the Bastille platform to detect unauthorized wireless activity.
• Analyze RF-based threats and recommend appropriate mitigation and response actions.
• Support M&R activities and wireless incident investigations.
• Generate site-level operational reports, metrics, and incident summaries.
• Maintain WIDS documentation, operating procedures, and reporting templates.
• Coordinate with Government stakeholders and engineering teams to resolve wireless security issues.
• Operate wireless monitoring and direction-finding equipment in support of security operations.
• Ensure compliance with applicable DoD and IC policies and procedures.
