Job summary

Amentum is seeking a WIDS Specialist Level II to provide technical support for Wireless Intrusion Detection System operations supporting the Skywalker program. The role administers Bastille WIDS, leads Monitoring & Response activities, analyzes wireless threats, and ensures compliance with DoD and IC requirements.

Excellent coordination with geographically separated team members is essential. Requirements include Bachelor’s Degree, TS/SCI w/ Poly, 3 years of relevant experience in WIDS and

Qualifications

• Experience operating Bastille WIDS platform.
• Knowledge of wireless protocols, RF theory, and threat detection.
• Experience supporting Monitoring & Response (M&R) operations.
• Ability to analyze security events and prepare technical reports.
• Clear written, verbal, and analytical communication; ability to travel.
• Security clearance TS/SCI w/ Poly.
• Bachelor’s Degree or higher.

Responsibilities

• Monitor Bastille WIDS environments to detect unauthorized wireless activity.
• Analyze RF-based threats and recommend mitigation and response actions.
• Support M&R activities and wireless incident investigations.
• Generate site-level operational reports, metrics, and incident summaries.
• Maintain WIDS documentation, procedures, and reporting templates.
• Coordinate with Government stakeholders and engineering teams to resolve wireless security issues.
• Operate wireless monitoring and direction-finding equipment.
• Ensure compliance with DoD/IC policies and procedures.
