Job summary

Amentum/Secure Networking Solutions is seeking a WIDS Specialist Level II to provide technical support for Wireless Intrusion Detection System (WIDS) operations supporting Amentum’s Skywalker program. The WIDS Specialist Level II administers Bastille WIDS, leads Monitoring & Response activities, analyzes wireless threats, and ensures DoD/IC compliance.

The role requires DoD/IC knowledge, RF theory, and strong coordination across a geographically separated team; travel worldwide may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience operating Bastille WIDS platform.
• Knowledge of wireless protocols and RF theory.
• Experience supporting M&R and wireless security operations.
• Ability to analyze security events and prepare technical reports.
• Strong written, verbal, and analytical communication skills.
• Ability to travel worldwide.

Responsibilities

• Monitor WIDS environments using Bastille to detect unauthorized wireless activity.
• Analyze RF-based threats and recommend mitigation actions.
• Support Monitoring & Response activities and wireless incident investigations.
• Generate site-level operational reports, metrics, and incident summaries.
• Maintain WIDS documentation and reporting templates.
• Coordinate with Government stakeholders and engineering teams to resolve issues.
• Operate wireless monitoring and direction-finding equipment.
• Ensure compliance with DoD/IC policies and procedures.
