Job summary

Amentum is seeking a WIDS Specialist Level II to administer the Bastille WIDS platform and lead Monitoring & Response activities for the Skywalker program. The role requires DoD/IC protocol knowledge, RF theory, and strong coordination with geographically separated teams.

Qualifications include a Bachelor’s Degree and 3+ years in WIDS operations, with TS/SCI with Poly clearance. Travel worldwide may be required. This is a full-time position supporting government security operations.

Qualifications

• Experience operating and administering the Bastille WIDS platform.
• Knowledge of wireless protocols, RF theory, and wireless threat detection.
• Experience supporting M&R and wireless security operations.
• Ability to analyze security events and prepare technical reports and documentation.
• Strong written, verbal, and analytical communication skills.
• Ability to travel worldwide.

Responsibilities

• Monitor WIDS environments using the Bastille platform to detect unauthorized wireless activity.
• Analyze RF-based threats and recommend appropriate mitigation and response actions.
• Support M&R activities and wireless incident investigations.
• Generate site-level operational reports, metrics, and incident summaries.
• Maintain WIDS documentation, operating procedures, and reporting templates.
• Coordinate with Government stakeholders and engineering teams to resolve wireless security issues.
• Operate wireless monitoring and direction-finding equipment in support of security operations.
• Ensure compliance with applicable DoD and IC policies and procedures.
