Job summary

Amentum is seeking a WIDS Specialist Level II to administer the Bastille WIDS platform and lead Monitoring & Response activities for the Skywalker program. The role involves analyzing wireless threats, coordinating with government stakeholders, and ensuring DoD/IC compliance, in a position contingent upon contract award.

The candidate will monitor wireless environments, generate operational reports, and maintain procedures, while traveling worldwide as required.

Qualifications

• Experience operating and administering the Bastille WIDS platform.
• Knowledge of wireless protocols, RF theory, and wireless threat detection.
• Experience supporting Monitoring & Response (M&R) and wireless security operations.
• Ability to analyze security events and prepare technical reports and documentation.
• Strong written, verbal, and analytical communication skills.
• Ability to travel worldwide.

Responsibilities

• Monitor WIDS environments using Bastille to detect unauthorized wireless activity.
• Analyze RF-based threats and recommend mitigation actions.
• Support M&R activities and wireless incident investigations.
• Generate site-level reports, metrics, and incident summaries.
• Maintain WIDS documentation, procedures, and templates.
• Coordinate with Government stakeholders and engineering teams.
