WIDS Specialist II — DoD/IC Wireless Security Lead

Job summary

Amentum provides specialized security support for the Skywalker program. We seek a WIDS Specialist Level II to administer Bastille WIDS, lead monitoring and response, and analyze wireless threats in support of DoD/IC requirements.

The candidate will coordinate with government stakeholders, perform incident investigations, and generate reports. This role requires travel and a TS/SCI with Poly clearance, with a 8am–5pm schedule where applicable.

Qualifications

• Experience operating Bastille WIDS platform and managing WIDS operations.
• Knowledge of RF concepts, wireless protocols, and threat detection.
• Experience supporting Monitoring & Response and incident reporting.

Responsibilities

• Monitor WIDS environments using Bastille to detect unauthorized wireless activity.
• Analyze RF threats and recommend mitigation and response actions.
• Support Monitoring & Response activities and wireless incident investigations.
• Generate site-level reports, metrics, and incident summaries.
• Maintain WIDS documentation, procedures, and reporting templates.
• Coordinate with Government stakeholders and engineering teams to resolve wireless security issues.
• Operate wireless monitoring equipment in security operations.
• Ensure compliance with DoD/IC policies and procedures.
