Job summary

Community Progress Council, Inc. is seeking a Program Assistant for the WIC program to guide applicants through eligibility, schedule appointments, and connect families with essential health and social services.

The role primarily serves York City with potential assignments across York County; bilingual Spanish is preferred and travel to satellite clinics may be required. Candidates should have at least one year of office experience and a HS diploma.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of experience in an office setting; fast-paced, client-focused environment.
• High School Diploma or GED required; nutrition coursework encouraged.
• Background checks, physical, TB test completed successfully.
• Bilingual Spanish desired.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to satellite clinics across York County.

Responsibilities

• Build connections with WIC applicants and guide them through eligibility.
• Manage client check-ins, calls, and appointment scheduling.
• Connect families to health and social services; assist in referrals.
• Travel to satellite clinics across York County to extend services.
