Mohave County Public Health – Nutrition & Health Division is hiring an Eligibility Technician. This office-based role supports WIC by assisting participants in person, by phone, and virtually, screening applicants for program eligibility and guiding families through nutrition and health services.

You'll join a team delivering grant-funded programs, including WIC, Tobacco Cessation, and AZ Health Zone, with a focus on accuracy, confidentiality, and compassionate service to Mohave County residents.

Formación

• High School diploma or GED required.
• At least one year of experience as an Eligibility Technician or related interviewing/case work.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Responsabilidades

• Interviews applicants or designated representatives to obtain information and compile required forms.
• Explains program procedures, regulations, process, and timeframes to individuals and responds to inquiries.
• Refer individuals to other medical, financial, or related assistance programs.
• Performs clerical tasks: scheduling, answering phones, data entry, organizing records, and filing.
• Communicates professionally with the public, co-workers, and contacts.
