Adelante Healthcare in Buckeye, AZ is seeking a WIC Receptionist/Community Nutrition Educator Float to greet clients, answer calls, certify and pre-certify WIC applicants, and provide nutrition-related counseling.

The role coordinates with stakeholders, schedules appointments, maintains records in HANDs system, and supports various nutrition programs while upholding privacy and quality standards. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred; CPR certification and fingerprint clearance required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• CPR/AED certification through AHA/Red Cross guidelines.
• Valid Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card for behavioral health locations.
• Professional customer service experience.
• Scheduling and managing walk-in clients.
• MS Office and program-related applications knowledge.
• Ability to work with diverse cultures and maintain confidentiality.
• Bilingual English and Spanish strongly preferred.

Responsabilités

• Answer calls, take messages, and direct calls appropriately.
• Schedule and reschedule appointments using HANDs system.
• Order office supplies for the WIC Program.
• Manage a wide range of administrative tasks and projects.
• Organize office areas and maintain appearance.
• Conduct health appraisals and nutritional assessments and document in HANDs.
• Provide nutrition counseling and refer high-risk clients to a dietitian.
• Complete documentation to support WIC eligibility determinations.
• Issue drafts, complete issuance with signatures and necessary docs.
• Provide education, counseling and referrals to clients.
• Handle routine office matters and address customer service concerns.
• Travel to other sites as needed.
• Conduct hemoglobin testing per ADHS policy.
• Assist WIC Regional Coordinator and Site Leader with projects.
