Job summary

Amazon is hiring a Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) Manager in Sauget, IL to champion safety across operations. You’ll lead the Global WHS Program, conduct risk assessments, analyze incident trends, and implement practical solutions to protect associates while sustaining productivity.

In this role you’ll partner with Operations leadership, drive audits, manage the first aid program, and develop leadership plans and training to strengthen safety culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 2+ years Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience.
• 3+ years of increasing responsibilities in WHS and/or environmental programs in manufacturing, production, or service operations
• 3+ years of increasing responsibilities in people and performance management, or 2+ years of Amazon Safety (blue badge/FTE) experience

Responsibilities

• Lead WHS program implementation and safety leadership across operations.
• Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and analyze incident trends.
• Manage first aid program and emergency response capabilities.
• Partner with Operations leadership to drive safety initiatives and training.
• Perform site audits and ensure compliance with WHS policies and regulations.
