Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC in Sparrows Point, MD, is seeking a Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) Manager to lead the Global WHS Program implementation and act as the site safety champion.

You will conduct risk assessments, analyze incident trends, lead safety compliance, audits, and manage the first aid program while partnering with Operations leadership to balance safety with productivity.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of increasing responsibilities in WHS and/or environmental programs.
• 3+ years of increasing responsibilities in people and performance management, or 2+ years in Amazon Safety.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience as a baseline qualification.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Global WHS Program implementation and site safety leadership.
• Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and analyze incident trends.
• Drive safety compliance, site audits, and first aid/emergency readiness.
• Collaborate with Operations leadership to balance safety with productivity.
