Job summary

Truist seeks a Team Coordinator II to organize daily processing activities across multiple groups in Wholesale Payments. You will ensure quality, delivery, and ongoing support of payment solutions while managing time, partnerships, and client interactions in a fast-paced environment.

Strong emphasis on communication, leadership, and proactive problem solving as you coordinate requests, escalate when needed, and drive process improvements to enhance client experience and control effectiveness.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Five years of Wholesale Payments, Banking Operations, or related experience.
• 2+ years of consistently high performance as a Team Coordinator I or equivalent.
• 3+ years direct experience leading a team, and resource allocation.
• Ability to lead projects of moderate or higher complexity levels with risk exposure.
• Knowledge and experience with Risk Controls and Audits.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Advanced skills in computer applications and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Demonstrates accountability - owns requests or projects and sees them through to completion or escalation.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance and decision making to teammates needing assistance with complex client issues.
• Serve as a key escalation point within Wholesale Payments for product and system-specific requests and coordinate with clients and vendors.
• Meet and influence junior colleagues; research and implement more efficient processes.
• Prioritize requests and manage workload across teammates via the workflow system.
• Engage with clients and internal partners to drive resolution of issues.
• Use judgment on moderate to complex business problems and decisions.
