Deephaven Mortgage LLC in Charlotte, NC, is seeking a Wholesale Operations Manager to lead an operations team through end-to-end mortgage processes. Hybrid role, 3–4 days in the Ballantyne office, ensuring efficiency, compliance and exceptional service while meeting financial goals.

You will oversee origination, processing and closing activities, collaborate with underwriting and clients, and drive process improvements across the team.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of previous management experience.
• 4+ years of mortgage operations experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a Wholesale Operations team and build a culture of teamwork.
• Oversee loans to ensure compliance with TRID and state/federal rules.
• Manage daily pipeline to ensure timely closings or dispositions.
• Coordinate with underwriting, processors, closers and clients for efficient closings.
• Support underwriting management throughout the loan process and respond to questions.

Job Overview

The Wholesale Operations Manager will be responsible for managing the end-to-end mortgage process, from loan origination to closing and servicing, ensuring operational efficiency, compliance with regulations, and adherence to company standards. This role will involve leading a team, optimizing processes, and ensuring excellent customer service while meeting financial and compliance goals. This role is hybrid in office in the Ballantyne are of Charlotte, NC 3 to 4 days a week.

What You'll Do

• Manage and lead a Wholesale Operations team consisting of Account Managers while building a culture of teamwork and mutual supportiveness
• Provide daily oversight of the team to ensure loans are completed according to established policies and procedures and within all TRID, federal, and state regulatory requirements
• Manage the daily pipeline to ensure loans are closed or dispositioned timely
• Work closely with all team members to ensure they are providing a high level of service and meeting partner expectations
• Partner with internal staff (e.g., Underwriter, Processor, Closer, Operations Management) and clients throughout the origination process to ensure efficient, quality closings
• Work closely with underwriting management throughout the loan process
• Assist the team in handling loan-level questions and issues, and in preparing and disseminating updated mortgage origination and compliance standards and procedures
• Work with vendors and various company departments to streamline processes, quality, and risk assessment

• 2+ years of previous management experience
• 4+ years of mortgage operations experience
