Job summary

Deephaven Mortgage LLC is seeking a highly motivated Post Closing Specialist to join the Operations team in the Ballantyne area of Charlotte, NC. The role focuses on enhancing loan delivery processes, ensuring accuracy, and supporting efficiency in a hands-on office setting.

You will collaborate with internal teams and external partners, serving as the main liaison for title companies, investors, and vendors, while handling high volumes of loan documentation with precision and timeliness.

• Obtain and track recorded mortgages and final title insurance policies.

Location

This role is full time in office in the Ballantyne area of Charlotte, NC.

This is an onsite position located in Charlotte, NC. Candidates must reside in the Charlotte area and be able to work in the office.

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated Post Closing Specialist to join the Operations team at Deephaven Mortgage. The Post Closing Specialist will participate in the loan delivery process providing a heightened focus on coverage and assistance to optimize processes and increase efficiencies while ensuring accuracy, completeness, and quality of assets being delivered. As a Post Closing Specialist, you will need to work in our office located in the Ballantyne area of Charlotte.

What You’ll Do

• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to optimize the loan delivery process, streamline workflows, and implement automation to improve efficiency and accuracy
• Serve as a primary point of contact for title companies, investors, and third-party vendors
• Receive, verify, image, and ship collateral and final loan documents to designated custodians
• Obtain and track recorded mortgages and final title insurance policies
• Maintain accurate and organized records of all documentation received and processed
• Manage the processing and shipment of high volumes of loan-related documentation
• Monitor outstanding document requirements and proactively follow up to ensure timely resolution
• Register originated loans within the MERS® system in accordance with established procedures

What We Need

• Associate degree or 1-3 years of experience in mortgage related industry
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle pressure with professionalism
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel
