Job summary

RT Specialty, a division of Ryan Specialty, seeks an Associate Broker to support brokers in client service, policy administration, and underwriting tasks. You will work closely with clients, carriers, and trading partners, handling endorsements, renewals, and invoicing while maintaining high accuracy.

The role requires insurance knowledge, sound judgment, and the ability to balance multiple priorities with precision in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of commercial insurance experience in wholesale or retail brokerage, underwriting, or client service.
• Working knowledge of commercial insurance coverages and policy structure.
• Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to interact with clients and underwriters.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for clients, carriers, and trading partners for policy servicing needs.
• Communicate with clients and underwriters via phone, email, and video to gather information and resolve issues.
• Manage endorsements, certificates, renewals, cancellations, and other servicing transactions with accuracy.
• Prepare submissions for underwriters and assist with quoting, binding, and placement activities.
• Review coverage terms and endorsements to ensure alignment with client needs and mitigate risk.
