Job summary

RT Specialty, a division of Ryan Specialty, is seeking a detail-oriented Associate Broker to serve as a trusted partner to the Broker, handling client service, policy administration, and underwriting activities with accuracy and responsiveness.

The role requires strong insurance knowledge, good judgment, and the ability to balance multiple priorities while building relationships with clients, carriers, and trading partners.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of commercial insurance experience in wholesale or retail brokerage or underwriting.
• Strong knowledge of commercial coverages and policy structure.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for clients, carriers, and trading partners via phone, email, and video.
• Manage endorsements, changes, certificates, renewals, and other servicing transactions.
• Prepare submissions and assist with quoting, binding, and placement.
• Review terms for coverage alignment and escalate issues as needed.
• Track items and support invoicing and premium reconciliation.
