Job summary

Ryan Specialty is seeking an Inside Broker to support the broker in developing and sustaining a profitable commercial casualty book. The role involves market analysis, quoting, negotiating, and placing business with internal and wholesale markets, while delivering exceptional client service.

You will manage high-volume workflows, work remotely with a first-class team, and leverage deep risk assessment knowledge to secure optimal coverage and pricing for assigned accounts across multiple states.

Qualifications

• Active State Property & Casualty license (or Surplus Lines where applicable).
• 5+ years of wholesale insurance brokerage experience with immediate ability to contribute.
• Strong background in Commercial Casualty placements and high-volume workflows.
• Excellent negotiation skills with carriers and wholesale markets.
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment with high responsiveness.

Responsibilities

• Market, quote, negotiate, and bind new and renewal commercial casualty business directed to the internal brokerage team.
• Analyze submissions to identify markets, pricing, coverage, terms, and conditions.
• Negotiate complex renewals and placements with top carriers and wholesale markets.
• Review quotes and contracts; present pricing, coverage, and terms clearly.
• Maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and carrier partners.
