Job summary

RT Specialty, a division of Ryan Specialty, seeks an Associate Broker to manage day-to-day client service, policy administration, and underwriting support. You will interact with clients, carriers, and trading partners, ensuring timely follow-up and accurate servicing.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of commercial insurance experience in wholesale brokerage, retail brokerage, underwriting, account management, client service, or related insurance role.
• Strong knowledge of commercial insurance coverages and policy structure.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy.
• Proficiency with agency management systems and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, carriers, and trading partners regarding policy servicing needs.
• Communicate with clients and underwriters via phone, email, and virtual meetings to gather information and resolve issues.
• Participate in client meetings and renewal discussions with the Broker, gradually taking on greater ownership.
• Manage endorsements, policy changes, certificates, audits, renewals, and other servicing transactions with accuracy.
• Prepare submissions for underwriters and assist with quoting, binding, and placement activities.
