Job summary

RT Specialty, a division of Ryan Specialty, is seeking an Underwriting Coordinator to support day-to-day operations of a wholesale insurance team. You will manage binding processes, navigate carrier portals, and ensure timely policy documentation.

Endorsements, information gathering, and strong communication with agents and carriers are essential as you grow within the wholesale brokerage space. The role requires a BA/BS in Business or Risk Management and 6 months to 1 year of related

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in Business or Risk Management.
• 6 months to 1 year of experience in a related field or similar role.
• Knowledge of insurance and policy issuance systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the team with binding processes.
• Navigate carrier portals to complete bind orders efficiently.
• Process paperwork and follow up on outstanding documentation.
• Handle endorsement requests and processing.
• Gather and organize required information to complete files.
• Set up and maintain files, including importing documentation as needed.
• Request necessary information from agents in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with carriers to resolve questions and disputes.
• Provide general team support as needed.
• Continuously build knowledge of the industry and the role of wholesale within it.
