Job summary

Bender Plumbing Supplies Inc. in Waterbury and Hartford is hiring a Counter Sales Associate for a full-time, in-office role with Saturday rotation.

Compensation is $20–$25 per hour plus an incentive plan, and you’ll join a fast-paced team serving plumbing, HVAC, and contractor customers. You will help customers in person, by phone, and via email, process transactions, fulfill orders, handle returns, and promote products.

Qualifications

• 5+ years counter sales, customer management or customer service.
• Experience with contractors, construction, or trade customers.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service in person, by phone, and via email, and process transactions using our POS and WMS systems.
• Fulfill customer orders, arrange pickups, and handle returns and exchanges professionally.
• Increase sales by promoting new products, specials, and trainings, and proactively grow product knowledge.
• Collaborate with the team to maintain inventory accuracy and a clean, organized counter area.

Bender Plumbing Supplies is hiring Counter Sales Associates for positions atour Waterburyand Hartford branches. We are looking for enthusiastic, customer-focused Counter Sales Associates who want to be a part of a fast-paced and culture forward environment.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide excellent customer service in person, by phone, and via email, and process transactions using our point-of-sale and WMS systems
• Fulfill customer orders, arrange pickups, and handle returns and exchanges professionally
