Job summary

Vertiv is seeking a data center infrastructure product leader to shape the roadmap for power distribution and cooling solutions. You will gather Voice of Customer data to define market needs and work with engineering, marketing, sales, and services to translate requirements into compelling product propositions.

You will analyze competitors, consolidate market intelligence, and support white papers and case studies while acting as a subject matter expert for whitespace infrastructure solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or higher Degree in Electrical or Mechanical engineering
• 5+ years relevant industry experience
• Experience in Data center design, build, commissioning or maintenance
• translate customer needs to solutions
• Strong written/oral communication, especially in communicating customer needs and value propositions
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, Smartsheet, and other business applications
• Informative knowledge about CAD, BIM and CFD tools
• Research and analytical skills
• Propensity for innovation
• Effectively communicates technical information to diverse audiences

Responsibilities

• Contribute to shaping the Data Center Infrastructure Solutions product roadmap via VOC data
• Collaborate with engineering, marketing, sales, and services to define product requirements
• Identify value propositions and bring new solutions to market
• Perform competitor analysis and market intelligence consolidation
• Create and maintain product documentation and brochures
• Provide on-site customer consultations when required
• Coordinate with solution architects and engineers for integration
• Support product launches and training
