Job summary

Vertiv is seeking a Product Manager for Data Center Infrastructure to define solutions roadmaps by consolidating Voice of Customer data and aligning with market needs. You will be a Subject Matter Expert for Infrastructure Solutions, coordinating with executives, marketing, and sales to shape product requirements and value propositions.

You will work with cross-functional teams to implement new technology, oversee documentation, and support product launches.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or higher degree in Electrical or Mechanical engineering.
• 10+ years of relevant industry experience.
• Experience in Data center design, build, commissioning or maintenance.
• Technical ability to translate customer needs into solutions.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with CAD, BIM, CFD tools and Microsoft Office/Smartsheet.

Responsibilities

• Analyze Voice of Customer and provide proposals or solutions.
• Analyze cost and propose improvements.
• Analyze competitor products and document strengths/deficiencies.
• Define, develop, and administer customer-facing product evaluation programs.
• Engage with Services to define and implement Power Solutions service offering.
• Gather trends and analyze new technologies.
• Interface with Sales & Solution Architects for market intelligence.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy new technology.
• Maintain patent reviews and coordinate with legal.
• Create and maintain product documentation and regionalize as needed.
• Assist Product Marketing with White Papers, case studies, and launch materials.
• Support solution architects with proposals and technical studies.
• Provide on-site consultations when required.
