Job summary

MTI America is seeking a Care Coordinator I for intake in Florida. You will deliver high-quality, white-glove service to injured workers, clients, providers, and partners through referrals and service delivery.

The role emphasizes accuracy, empathy, and strong multi-system coordination in a fast-paced healthcare setting. Responsibilities include processing referrals, coordinating scheduling and authorizations, obtaining written approvals, and maintaining precise documentation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of two years in healthcare scheduling or care coordination.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and attention to detail.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and case-management systems.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary contact for referrals, inquiries, and service requests.
• Process and coordinate referrals for medical products and services.
• Confirm demographic information and scheduling needs with injured workers.
• Provide timely updates on referral status and service delivery.
• Coordinate scheduling, authorizations, and follow-up activities.
• Identify and engage vendor partners based on requirements.
• Obtain quotes and secure written authorization for services.
• Communicate with stakeholders regarding referrals and billing information.
• Enter claim and referral information accurately into systems.
• Maintain complete, professional case notes throughout the referral lifecycle.
• Ensure documentation accuracy before submission or closure.
• Deliver excellent customer service with empathy and professionalism.
