Job summary

MTI America is seeking a Care Coordinator I to deliver high-quality, compassionate service to injured workers, clients, and providers. You will manage referrals, coordinate medical products and services, and keep accurate documentation throughout the referral lifecycle.

This role supports hybrid and on-site work in Pompano Beach, FL and requires strong multitasking, detail orientation, and the ability to navigate multiple systems in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• Must have 2+ years in healthcare scheduling, care coordination, or related role.
• Experience handling referrals, authorizations, and billing information.
• Strong communication across multiple stakeholders.
• Knowledge of workers’ compensation, managed care, and claims processes.

Responsibilities

• Serve as main contact for referrals and service requests from workers, clients, providers, and partners.
• Process and coordinate referrals in line with workflows and regulations.
• Contact injured workers to confirm information and scheduling needs.
• Provide updates on referral status and service delivery timelines.
• Coordinate scheduling, authorizations, and service delivery per referral specs.
• Identify and engage vendor partners per network requirements.
• Communicate quotes and obtain written authorizations for services.
• Enter data accurately into company systems and maintain case notes.
• Ensure documentation is accurate and complete prior to submission and billing.
