Job summary

Odyssey Restaurant in Long Beach, CA is seeking a skilled bartender to join our high-volume bar team. You will craft whiskey-based cocktails, engage guests professionally, and contribute to an exceptional guest experience.

Requirements include 1 year of bartending experience, strong whiskey knowledge, excellent communication, and flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays. Tips are offered in addition to hourly pay, with opportunities for growth and advancement within the restaurant

Qualifications

1 year: Bartending experience.
Strong knowledge of whiskey and other spirits.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a diverse range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair.
Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring a memorable experience.
Demonstrate expert knowledge of whiskey varieties, origins, flavors, and pairings.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including stocking inventory and supplies.
Adhere to all health and safety regulations and responsible service of alcohol.
Collaborate with colleagues to uphold The Boat House's reputation for excellence and hospitality.
Provide assistance to other team members and perform additional duties as assigned.
