Job summary

Numotion is seeking a Service Technician to service and repair complex manual and powered wheelchairs and other essential medical equipment in the New York region. You will diagnose issues, obtain quotes, and perform repairs in the shop or in the field, while maintaining organized stock and ensuring customer safety and satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or GED or 1 year related experience.
• Minimum two years of mechanical experience; medical equipment preferred.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools for repair.
• Basic Word, Email, Internet for documentation.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to travel to various locations.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair equipment in the shop or on site.
• Maintain stock equipment in the shop/warehouse.
• Maintain delivery vehicles in safe operating condition.
• Manage parts inventory: receive, store, ship.
• Complete documentation and reports in a timely manner.
• Educate customers on proper use and safety of equipment.
• Perform equipment fittings and adjustments for user comfort.
• Ensure safety compliance in the work environment.
• Participate in training and development activities.
