The Boeing Company in Crown Point, IN, seeks an Associate Wheel and Brake Overhaul Technician to perform end-to-end overhaul of wheel and brake assemblies at a FAA Part 145 repair station. You will disassemble, inspect, and reassemble components to ensure airworthiness and safety.

The role requires precision, manual dexterity and strict adherence to CMMs, IPCs and QCM/RSM procedures. Lifting up to 35 lbs, 3+ years of relevant experience, and A&P certification are valued; 1st shift.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret blue print drawings CMMs, IPCs, and service bulletins.
• 3+ years experienced in using hand tools, torque wrenches, hydraulic presses, and precision measuring equipment.
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Precision-driven work requires manual dexterity and keen attention to detail.

Responsabilités

• Disassemble wheel and brake units, including removal of tires, bearings and hydraulics; grit blast parts for inspection.
• Repair, modify and overhaul carbon and steel brake assemblies and wheel hubs per CMMs.
• Reassemble with correct torque/balance; perform functional and pressure testing for hydraulic integrity.
• Complete maintenance records, work orders and FAA documentation; follow RSM and QCM.
• Work in a shop environment with noise, vibrations and hazardous materials.
