Job summary

Boeing Distribution, Inc. is seeking an Associate Wheel and Brake Overhaul Technician in Crown Point, Indiana. You will disassemble, inspect, overhaul, and reassemble wheel and brake assemblies per CMMs and IPCs, ensuring torque accuracy and leak-free operation.

Responsibilities include testing, completing FAA records, and following RSM/QCM while handling a safety-sensitive environment. Applicants should have 3+ years’ hands-on experience with torque wrenches, hydraulic presses, and precision

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret blue print drawings CMMs, IPCs, and service bulletins.
• 3+ years experience with hand tools, torque wrenches, hydraulic presses, and precision measuring equipment.
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Precision-driven work with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble complex wheel and brake units and remove tires, bearings, and hydraulic components.
• Perform cleaning and grit blasting to prepare parts for inspection.
• Overhaul carbon and steel brake assemblies and wheel hubs per CMMs.
• Reassemble with proper torque and balance; conduct testing to verify hydraulics.
• Complete maintenance records, work orders, and FAA documentation in compliance.
