Job summary

WSP USA is seeking a Wetland Delineator/Environmental Scientist to support regional offices including Indianapolis. You will assist with delineations, GPS data collection, and field logistics on infrastructure, utility, and renewable energy projects across the Midwest.

Ideal candidates bring 3+ years in wetlands, a relevant degree, and strong data management. The role requires long field hours and teamwork in a collaborative environment with safety adherence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental science or related field required.
• 3+ years in wetland delineations and stream assessments; Ohio/ Midwest preferred.
• Proficient with USACE data forms and related data collection tools.
• Strong data management and MS Office skills; ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Assist with wetland delineations, stream assessments and lead field teams when needed.
• Operate GPS units to collect field data and map habitat types.
• Prepare field plans, safe work plans and logistics for fieldwork.
• Compile data analyses and assist with report writing and permit applications.
