Job summary

WSP USA is seeking a Wetland Delineator/Environmental Scientist for offices in Cincinnati, Columbus, Cleveland, Dayton and nearby Midwest locations. You will join a collaborative team protecting natural resources while supporting infrastructure and renewable energy projects.

You will assist with wetland delineations, lead field activities, map habitat data with GPS, and coordinate with agencies to secure permits. The role requires field stamina and teamwork in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of wetland delineations and stream assessments experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Ecology, Environmental Studies, Biology or related field.
• Familiarity with USACE data forms and wetland/stream data formats.
• GPS data collection experience required.
• Proficient in MS Office and data management.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning and execution of wetland delineations and stream assessments.
• Lead wetland field team in accordance with USACE manuals and regional supplements.
• Operate GPS units to collect field data and map habitat types.
• Prepare field equipment, mapping, Safe Work Plans, and logistics for field work.
• Perform data entry, analysis and report compilation.
• Assist with agency coordination (USFWS, USACE, OEPA, ODNR).
• Lead preparation of wetland delineation reports and permit applications.
