Job summary

WSP is seeking a Wetland Delineator/Environmental Scientist to support infrastructure and energy projects across the Midwest, including Cincinnati and neighboring states. Qualifications

• 1-3 years of wetland delineation and stream assessment experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Ecology, or related field.
• Familiar with USACE data forms and wetland data collection.
• Experience collecting GPS field data.
• Midwest vegetation plant identification knowledge.
• Willing to learn and adopt field methods for data collection.
• Proficient in data management and MS Office.
• Independent and collaborative work style; safety conscious.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning and executing wetland delineations and stream assessments.
• Lead wetland field activities per USACE standards where needed.
• Operate GPS units to map habitats and sensitive resources.
• Prepare field equipment, mapping, safety plans, and logistics for field work.
• Enter data, analyze results, and compile reports.
• Coordinate with agencies such as USFWS and USACE.
• Draft wetland delineation reports and permit applications.
• Work long field hours; adapt to varied weather and terrain.
