Job summary

WSP USA is seeking a Wetland Delineator/Environmental Scientist to join our Midwest regional offices (Cincinnati, Columbus, Cleveland, Dayton, Akron, Toledo, Indianapolis, and beyond). You will work with a collaborative team protecting natural resources on infrastructure and renewable energy projects throughout the region.

You will assist with wetland delineations, stream assessments, and field data collection, while coordinating with agencies and leading portions of field work.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience conducting wetland delineations and stream assessments.
• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Ecology, Environmental Studies, Biology or related field.
• Familiarity with USACE wetland data forms, ORAM forms, and QHEI/HHEI stream data forms.
• Experience with GPS field data collection.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning and execution of wetland delineations and stream assessments.
• Lead field teams and coordinate with USACE/other agencies as needed.
• Operate GPS units to map habitat types and sensitive resources.
• Support preparation of field plans, data entry, analyses, and reports.
