Job summary

Tower Semiconductor is seeking an experienced Wet Etch Process Engineer to sustain, improve, and develop dry etch processes in a high-volume manufacturing facility. This role requires a strong technical background, leadership skills, and excellent communication abilities.

The successful candidate will partner with cross-functional teams to deliver products on time, improve process capabilities, and drive quality and reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of wet etch process engineering experience.
• Expertise in poly and/or metal etch; experience with LAM2300/AMAT DPS and LAM9600 preferred.
• Experience with DOE, data analysis, and JMP software.

Responsibilities

• Sustain and improve wet etch processes in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
• Develop and implement new wet etch capabilities and process enhancements to improve key metrics.
• Troubleshoot and solve yield issues and ramp new process technologies from R&D to volume manufacturing.
• Characterize and qualify new equipment, upgrades, and process technologies.
• Interface with global counterparts to benchmark and improve etch processes and procedures.
• Support the Integration team and Quality organization to ensure technologies meet qualification and reliability requirements.
