Base pay range

$22.00/hr - $23.00/hr

Job Responsibilities
  • Assist and support management and the leadership team with handling and resolving Human Resources issues.
  • Approach all encounters with guests and associates in an attentive, friendly, courteous, and service-oriented manner.
  • Maintain regular attendance in compliance with Aimbridge Hospitality standards, as required by scheduling which will vary according to the needs of the hotel.
  • Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, including compliance with Aimbridge Hospitality dress code.
  • Ensure adherence to Aimbridge Hospitality’s standards and regulations to promote safe and efficient operations.
  • Assist employees with internal and external transfer requests and procedures.
  • Monitor and assist managers/supervisors with hiring processes and issues.
  • Coordinate and conduct applicant drug screens, reference checks, background checks, motor vehicle checks, and social security number verification.
  • Create and maintain new hire and personnel files and enter them into Human Resources Information Systems.
  • Assist with orientation of new employees.
  • Monitor all hiring and recruitment processes for compliance with laws and policies.
  • Maintain employee records and support payroll processing as needed.
  • Create and maintain filing systems and generate HR data reports.
  • Serve as HR subject matter expert and participate in project teams.
  • Train new hires on HR processes, policies, and systems.
Qualifications
  • High School diploma or equivalent with at least 2 years of HR experience.
  • College coursework in related field helpful.
  • Knowledge of basic HR principles.
  • Proficient with Windows (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Ability to evaluate options quickly and accurately.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and multitask.
  • Problem-solving skills in the workplace.
  • Ability to understand complex information and adapt accordingly.
  • Effective listening and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to work with financial data and perform basic arithmetic.
