Base pay range

$17.00/hr - $23.00/hr

The Accounting Clerk is responsible for the accounts payable/accounts receivable functions at the hotel, ensuring invoices are received and processed on time. They handle hotel deposits according to Aimbridge Hospitality Standards and assist the Property Accountant with administration tasks related to Accounts Payable, Human Resources, and Payroll.

Qualifications
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • College coursework in a related field is helpful.
  • Experience in a hotel or related field is preferred.
Responsibilities
  • Approach all encounters with guests and employees in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
  • Maintain regular attendance per Aimbridge Hospitality standards, with scheduling based on hotel needs.
  • Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, including proper uniform and name tag.
  • Ensure hotel billing is processed and mailed promptly.
  • Make calls to new billings and outstanding accounts to keep Accounts Receivable Aging aligned with SOPs and standards.
  • Generate aging reports as directed.
  • Maintain a filing system for direct billing.
  • Assist with Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable administration as directed.
  • Participate in credit meetings and provide account status updates.
  • Assist with Human Resources tasks, including new hire paperwork, payroll, and paycheck distribution.
  • Handle other accounting and HR duties as assigned.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and access control.
