Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Logistics Manager for the Western Range on the Space Force Range Contract in the United States. The role leads the WR Logistics Team and serves as the main logistics point of contact for internal and external customers, managing receipts, transport, warehousing, and related support functions.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field, eight years of logistics experience with supervisory duties, and familiarity with USAF SBSS, DoD

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain or related field or equivalent combination of education and practical experience.
• Eight years logistics experience with six years of supervisory/management experience.
• Familiarity with USAF SBSS programs and related manuals.
• Familiarity with cargo movement regulations (DoD 4500.9-R, AFIM 24-204(I)).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; MS Office Project experience preferred.
• Must be able to obtain/maintain Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Western Range Logistics Team to support LTRS missions.
• Serve as main Logistics POC to internal/external customers.
• Oversee receipts, issues, transport, warehousing, and related support.
• Monitor workflow to ensure on‑time product delivery per requirements.
• Ensure quality of work products and adherence to policies.
• Analyze performance metrics and advise senior management on improvements.
• Prepare periodic staffing, workflow, and contract deliverable reports.
• Train and mentor personnel; assign workloads to meet logistics requirements.
• Ensure compliance with PWS and company policies; pursue efficiency initiatives.
