Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Logistics Manager to lead the Western Range Logistics Team supporting the Space Force Range Contract. You will serve as the primary logistics POC for internal and external customers and ensure timely delivery of supplies, accurate reporting, and compliance with LTRS and company standards.

The role requires eight years of logistics experience, including six in leadership, with DoD/USAF familiarity and a Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain or related field or equivalent combination of education and practical experience.
• Eight years logistics experience to include six years of supervisory/management experience.
• Experience with USAF SBSS programs and related supply concepts.
• Familiarity with DoD cargo movement regulations and USAF manuals.
• Experience with Contractor-Inventory Control Point operations and spare part management.
• Development and management of processes including Integrated Logistics Support (ILS).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; MS Office Project experience highly desired; Maximo familiarity.
• Willingness to travel occasionally and ability to obtain Secret clearance.
• Citizenship requirement for U.S. Government clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Western Range Logistics Team to support LTRS mission.
• Serve as the main Logistics POC for internal and external customers.
• Manage receipts, issues, transportation, warehousing, and daily logistics operations.
• Monitor workflow to ensure on-time delivery and compliance with requirements.
• Review work products for quality and alignment with policies and procedures.
• Track performance, cost, and customer satisfaction; implement corrective actions.
• Oversee reporting on staffing, workflow, and contract deliverables.
• Collaborate with managers to drive service improvements and share recommendations.
