Job summary

Amentum seeks a Range Systems Supervisor for the Space Force Range Contract. Lead O&M, data handling, and range safety; supervise technicians; ensure training and qualifications align with contract requirements. Provide technical guidance on operability and logistics for space force missions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in science, engineering, business management, or four years direct experience.
• 5+ years of experience with operation and maintenance of instrumentation, facilities, and infrastructure with at least five years in a supervisory role.
• Strong interpersonal skills for interacting with multiple customer organizations and government partners.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of local/remote environment range missions and related manuals, drawings, and specs.
• Ability to manage a multi-cultural, lean, high-performance government facility.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction to workforce through supervisors and technicians for O&M functions.
• Ensure personnel are trained and qualified to meet contract requirements and standards.
• Develop and maintain procedures describing current standards, reporting, and deviations with root-cause analysis.
• Schedule personnel to meet contract and mission requirements, including recalls for emergencies.
• Monitor performance of operations and maintenance staff and provide feedback.
• Prepare infrastructure to meet mission requirements and ensure proper maintenance.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance per standards, and report outages.
• Ensure security standards and material control per contract; liaise with HR on disciplinary actions.
• Support process improvements and provide technical advice on operability and logistics.
