Job summary

Vogelsang USA, Ltd. is seeking a Regional Sales Manager – Municipal Wastewater to grow its municipal market presence across the Western Territory. This role will manage channel partners while engaging municipal end users and engineering firms throughout the sales process, from opportunity identification to order closure.

Direct pump-sales experience is beneficial but not required. Training will be provided, and the candidate should excel in building relationships, prospecting, and achieving

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Environmental, Civil, Process, Water Resources, or another engineering discipline relevant to municipal water and wastewater applications.
• Minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience in technical sales, business development, applications engineering, or technical sales support involving municipal wastewater process equipment or related solids-handling technologies.
• Demonstrated ability to develop customer relationships, prospect for new business, secure meetings, create opportunities, or contribute to growth.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve annual bookings, revenue, and gross-margin objectives across the Western Territory.
• Proactively prospect for new business with wastewater treatment plants, utilities, and municipal facilities.
• Conduct regular in-person visits with plant managers, engineers, and decision-makers.
• Manage channel partners to ensure territory coverage and performance.
• Maintain direct engagement with municipal end users and engineering firms to create demand and influence specifications.
• Plan and execute weekly, monthly, and quarterly territory-development plans.
