Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• 5+ years in pharma/biotech with patient services, market access, sales, or account management.
• At least 2 years in a patient services role for a specialty product.
• Experience with complex practices/health systems to establish access pathways.
• Strategic account management with proactive access hurdle anticipation.
• Expertise in manufacturer-sponsored patient support programs.
• Experience with specialty products via specialty pharmacy networks.
• Knowledge of reimbursement pathways (specialty, buy‑and‑bill, retail).

Responsibilities

• Interact with complex accounts to support patient access and provide face‑to‑face education on programs.
• Collaborate with therapeutic area executives, providers, billing staff, and revenue cycle managers to facilitate access.
• Analyze reimbursement issues and provide solutions at the provider level, including payer concerns.
• Support pull‑through of local coverage decisions and communicate policy changes.
• Maintain expertise in regional access landscapes and upcoming healthcare changes.
• Coordinate with Patient Support Center and Access & Reimbursement Managers for case management.
• Share customer insights with cross‑functional teams to address access barriers.
• Educate HCPs on buy‑and‑bill processes and alternative care channels.
