Job summary

Digital Realty is seeking a Subregional Head of Quality Management for the Western Region, based in Santa Clara, CA. You will oversee quality, compliance, and audits across data centers under Global Compliance governance.

You will drive risk assessment, reporting, corrective actions, and support global programs while collaborating with operations, regional leadership, and site teams. This role requires travel and strong leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level technical degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 2 years in a managerial role.
• Minimum of 2 years in a Quality Manager or similar role.
• Experience in a quality leadership role within an industrial or critical environment (preferred).
• English fluency (written and spoken).
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills across management levels.
• Ability to work in a process-driven environment and meet deadlines under pressure.
• Willingness and ability to travel.

Responsibilities

• Lead quality management across data centers under Global Compliance.
• Ensure audits, risk assessments, security assessments, and evidence on time.
• Conduct internal audits for operational compliance at data centers.
• Report nonconformances and compliance status via subregional reporting.
• Manage corrective actions and coordinate remediation to closure.
• Support global compliance program implementations (security, continuity, energy, env, regs).
• Monitor regulatory changes and conduct annual legal audits in the sub-region.
• Review business continuity plans and coordinate testing.
• Engage with operations leadership through site visits.
