Job summary

Digital Realty seeks a Subregional Design Lead for the Northeast region to plan, coordinate, and direct activities across Architectural, Electrical, and Mechanical Engineering. The role acts as liaison with project managers, clients, consultants, contractors, and vendors to drive design quality and compliance.

Responsibilities include staffing planning, mentoring, performance reviews, and ensuring deliverables meet project requirements and codes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Architectural or Electrical/Mechanical Engineering is required; Master’s Degree or advanced education is preferred.
• Professional registration as Electrical/Mechanical Engineer or Architect is required.
• Experience with Building and Energy Codes, ASHRAE, NFPA codes is expected.
• LEED AP is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Determine staffing needs by disciplines and projects based on workload; provide staffing recommendations.
• Mentor discipline personnel through training and career development.
• Develop and review work plans and conduct performance evaluations; recognize contributions and provide feedback.
