Job summary

Campbell Soup Supply in West Sacramento is seeking a Distribution Material Handler to support loading, receiving, picking, and shipping of products and POS materials. The role requires safe operation of material-handling equipment, plus use of RF scanning and voice-picking tech to ensure accurate inventory and timely order fulfillment.

The position offers a stable first-shift schedule with start times around 4:00 a.m. and competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED and/or at least one year of relevant experience.
Ability to safely operate manual and powered material-handling equipment.
Ability to use or learn warehouse technology such as RF scanners and voice-picking equipment.
Ability to follow product labeling, inventory, order-picking, and shipping procedures.
Ability to meet safety, food safety, and housekeeping requirements.

Responsibilities

Safely load and unload trailers containing products and POS materials.
Move products using manual and powered material-handling equipment.
Sort and place products in designated rack and shelf locations.
Pick and assemble customer orders, palletize, stretch-wrap, and prepare for shipping.
Label incoming products with date code, description/code, and case count.
