Job summary

Guardian Life is seeking a Western Regional Vice President to serve as a strategic partner to Principal Owners, Firms and Financial Representatives. This senior field role focuses on growth, productivity, sustainability and leadership development across the Western Region.

The role reports to the Head of Principal Owner Development and Growth. It is fully remote within the Western United States, with travel expected 50–60% of the time.

Qualifications

• Proven experience consulting on driving sales growth and productivity in field-based environments.
• Experience with business planning aligned to strategic growth initiatives, including recruiting and market expansion.
• Ability to navigate escalations and balance risk with business impact.
• Strong track record building trust-based relationships across field and home office partners.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales growth and production outcomes across your region through building a distribution-focused business plan.
• Partner with Principal Owners and field leaders to improve productivity using data and coaching.
• Support firm expansion and growth initiatives, including merger discussions.
• Act as liaison between Field and Home Office with stakeholders to address regulatory matters.
• Influence succession planning to ensure long-term leadership bench strength.
• Serve as trusted advisor to align initiatives with overall strategy.
